Down Payment Assistance Programs
We offer a variety of Down Payment Assistance programs in partnership with the City of Tucson and Pima County.
Current programs require households to be at or below 80% Pima County’s Median Income; see chart below to see if you qualify.

City of Tucson/Pima County Down Payment Assistance
- The assistance is 5% of the purchase price or a minimum $5,000
- If property is located within the City’s NSP3 target area, or the County’s NSP2 target area, assistance will be $7,500

Mortgage Revenue Bonds {MRB} Down Payment Assistance
- The assistance is 6% of the purchase price or a minimum $6,000
- If property is located within the City’s NSP3 target area, or the County’s NSP2 target area, assistance will be $7,500

Within 2-4 days of receiving the OPCS application a housing counselor will contact you to set up an appointment.
